Vortex Flow Meter
Vortex meter for steam, gas, air and liquids up to 350 °C and 60 bar, with optional pressure and temperature compensation.
Vortex meters measure flow by detecting the frequency of vortices shed from a bluff body in the flow stream. With no moving parts and a very high temperature rating, they are the standard choice for saturated and superheated steam, compressed air and gas, as well as liquids — widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy and heat-supply plants. Pressure and temperature compensation is available for mass-flow measurement of steam and gas.
